Who's celebrating

Everyone who built this will be in the room.

The Healing Haven SLC isn't one person. It's a team, a community, and a whole lot of people who said yes to something slower. On September 18, we're all in one room.

Helen DeLovely, LCSW

The reason there's a Haven. She'll guide the somatic session and the sound bath, and she's the one we're all there to celebrate.

The next generation of the Haven, training under Helen. Her first Grand Opening — and not her last.

You.

Clients, past clients, Somatic Room regulars, friends of the Haven.

Whether you've worked with Helen for years, came through for a single session, sat on the floor on a Thursday, or just cheered from the sidelines — you're the guest of honor. Come as you are.

The evening

Not a launch party. A thank-you.

Two hours. One room. Nothing to bring, nothing to perform.

Arrive & say hi

Doors at 5:00. Grab a drink, find a spot, hug someone you haven't seen in a while. Leah's at the door; Zack's somewhere near the cake.

2

Somatic session with Helen

Slow, guided, body-based — the kind of thing we do in the Somatic Room on Thursdays. No experience needed. Join in as much or as little as you like.

3

Sound bath, then cake

Lie back, close your eyes, let the bowls do the work. Then we cut the cake, raise a glass, and celebrate what this community built.

From Helen

I want to say thank you out loud.

I started The Healing Haven because I wanted to build a different kind of practice — one rooted in the body, in honesty, and in showing up for people. It isn't just mine anymore. It belongs to Leah, to Zack, to Jade, and to everyone who trusted it, sat on the floor for a session, or sent a friend our way.

So on September 18, right after PracticeCon wraps up, I'm keeping the room and turning the evening into a party for you. Flowers, cake, sound, and each other. And then we do it again next year.

I hope you'll be one of the 25 in the room with me.

Good to know

A few things people usually ask.

Do I need any experience with somatic work or sound baths?

Nope. Everything is guided, slow, and optional. Take part as much or as little as feels right — or just lie back and listen.

What should I wear or bring?

Whatever's comfortable. You don't need to bring anything. If a blanket or mat would be nice, we'll say so in the reminder email.

Can I bring someone?

We'd love that. Because the room is limited to 25 spots, have them save their own seat so we can hold a place for both of you.

Where do I park, and which entrance do I use?

Directions for the Hyatt will be in your reminder email a few days before, so you'll have them on your phone when you arrive.

Why the Hyatt and not the practice?

Helen is at the Hyatt all day for PracticeCon, and the party starts right after it wraps up — so we're celebrating in the Park City Room on the 3rd floor.

What if I save a seat and can't make it?

Just reply to your confirmation email. Every open seat matters in a small room, and we'll gladly pass it along.

Is it free?

Yes. It's a thank-you. Just come.
